Thought provoking as always. I never thought of Jesus being "poured into" the cup, just being poured out. In your section on him possibly wondering about future events, ie. Jacob's well, I found myself considering that we can only look back on the events of the past, and ascribe meaning to them, and be influenced by them; I wonder if in his foreknowledge, Jesus could also look back and forward. We look ahead with "maybe's"; and "if God wills (James), Jesus looked ahead with certainty and clarity. Thanks
